Meanwhile....

Back at the Ranch

I know I've used that before, but how can I not!
It's May so we were out to the Ranch to help brand again.
We love being out there for that.

 Sutton was watching very closely.
He said that Billie was doing good but "Uncle Rich is doing really, REALLY good. He gets one (calf) every time!"
 My so serious children.

 It's just gorgeous there.

I love that my kids get to experience all that comes with it,
such as poking a cow pie with a stick.
Or watching another kid poke a cow pie with a stick.

Sutton's helping. Laina had earlier but I missed it on one of my runs back to the house.
We had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave.
The kids cried.
We said that we'd try to get back out in June since our trip was cut short but the kids still thought that June was too far away. :)
But we HAD to leave because we had a little sweetheart to go back to Wabasha/Lake City for.
I was on the phone a few times in the middle of the night before branding finding out what was happening with my sister-in-law who was in labor.
My brother Joe and his wife Liz's daughter Bethany Helen Grace was born on May 3rd at 5:26am.
I was itching to see Bethany....and Joe and Liz.

I Haven't Posted in a While

because I now have Instagram and have just been posting on there.
I still want to add pictures to here. It just takes a little longer.
With doing a lot more homeschooling with
Laina in 1st grade, Sutton in Kindergarten, and Bodie in pre-school,
I don't have as much time as I'd like.
If you want to find me on Instagram, I'm linypooh01.
Have a blessed day!

Time by the Lake

Mark, the kids, and I were down visiting Mark's parents.

We went to church (I'm really good at picking out clothes that match even though that's not what I intended) and then out for brunch.

When we got back the kids asked if we could go down to the little beach.

At first I hesitated since they were in their church clothes, but then I decided, "Why not? It's just water and sand."

So I grabbed my camera.

I wasn't really sure how well they were going to turn out
because it was really bright.

The kids had a great time being in the water in their clothes.

And some of their pictures turned out nice enough to enlarge.

My sister who's an awesome photographer usually takes their pictures but this fall that just didn't work out.

I was able to get a few snapshots to work.

The group ones however....
 It was just so bright.
I couldn't even look at my camera display to see how they looked.
I'm definitely going to need to recruit Melissa.
Those were not at all wall worthy. hehe

As always, it was such a nice visit with Mark's parents.

We've done soooo many things since September....and before!
It was Laina's birthday,
Mark and I took a trip to Iowa for my birthday and visited friends,
we went out to the ranch for Thanksgiving,
and now Christmas is coming up!!
I'm a little behind on blogs.
I will TRY to get to it.
I just have a few irons in my fire. :)

If I don't post until afterward,
Merry Christmas!!!!
